The mother of Bratislava...

The women in Bratislava are in indeed an amazing sight. Netwit and Max will definitely have stiff necks when they return to the U.S. as there is one beautiful woman after another here in Bratislava. Their beauty is more appreciated as they don't have the benefit surgicial enhancement as the woman in L.A. do (and when they do, we're coming back!) Their regal looks date back to the most famous queen of Hungary, Maria Theresa. She ruled in the Bratislava Castle Hrad from 1740 to 1780 during the Age of Reason and the town flourished during her reign. She is known as the mother of all mothers because she had 23 children who all went on to be rulers all over Europe. She had the reputation of a loose woman (hey, with 23 children she was obviously plucked more times than the Rose of Tralee.) The most famous of her offspring was Marie Antoinette and we all know what a slice of pie she was. Below, on the left, is a picture of Maria Theresa at the end of her reign. On the right is the Hrad where she reigned.
